Accommodations The interior of L'AIGLE DEL MER is Tartam's A accomodation plan. It is finished in the traditional hand rubbed, oiled teak joiner work, cabinetry, and solid trim.The cabin sole is teak and holly. The upholstery is green, and the interior hand rails are teak. Headroom throughout is 6'4". The forward cabin has a 6'6" V-berth with two cedar lined hanging lockers, a bureau, and a dressing seat. There is ample storage provided by the shelves over each berth, and lockers under the bunks. Next aft is the fully enclosed head to port with a separate shower stall. There is access to the head from both the V-Berth, and the main saloon. Opposite the head to starboard is a large cedar lined hanging locker. The main saloon has a U-shaped settee to port that converts to a double berth, and a single settee to starboard.Above the starboard berth is bottle and glass storage. The dining table stows against the port forward bulkhead. When in table mode it seats six to eight people. Aft to port is the chart table facing aft, and the chart table is just aft of the galley. The aft cabin is aft to starboard, opposite the galley and chart table. There are ten opening ports, and two large opening hatches. There are twio small hatches forward, and two dorade ventilators. The vessel enjoys excellent ventilation.

Galley The galley is located to port, and is well situated to serve the saloon or cockpit. There is excellent storage, and large counter top prep space.

Electrical The ships electrical systems include 12 Volt battery power, and 110 volt shore power.

Mechanical The engine is a Universal Atomic 40, 33 HP, FWC diesel

Sails and Rigging She is a modern masthead, double spreader rigged sloop.Spars are annondized, and the mast is stepped on the keel. The standing rigging is 1x19 stainless steel. The mast has ppreader lights, anchor light, tri color, and strobe light. The mast height is 55' 6" above the water.
